A: Your Profile contains your current account balance, a history of all of your tournaments, as well as a financial summary.

Q: How do I change my personal information?
A: To change your e-mail address or password, click "My Account".

A: It is not currently possible to change the player name on an account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

A: Simply click here, and we can e-mail your information to you.

Q: How can I change my picture?
A: Yes you can change profile in the “My Account“ menu which is on the right side of the screen.

A: Go to "My Account" find "Gender" field change gender and click "Save".

Q: Why doesn’t my statistics (personal statistics) match the statistics on the community column on top players’ stats?
A: Your personal statistics and the Community column are different because the system refreshes the players’ rating every hour.

Q: Why doesn’t the site let me upload an image to my profile?
A: The size of the picture you want to upload on the site should not exceed 300KB also only VIP member can have their own pictures.

Q: How do I verify my details?
A: You need to go to my account and click on "get game credits".

Q: How do I close my MahjongTime account?
A: To close your account, please contact us and request that your account be closed. Please include your player name in the e-mail. Once MahjongTime has closed your account, we will send you a confirmation e-mail.

Q: How come I’m back to beginner’s belt?
A: you have experienced this because you are a free member. The rating and the belt for free members is dropped to 0 each month.

Q: How can I keep my rating from resetting every month?
A: When you are a guest, your rating resets to 0 every month, but if you sign up for a Premium or VIP account your rating never resets, so you can work your way up all the way to a mahjong black belt master!

Q: Why did my rating drop?
A: In order to keep your rating at Mahjongtime you need to be a Mahjongtime league member. For Mahjongtime guests the rating gets reset to 0.1 by the end of each month. If you have been playing at Mahjongtime in the past and you had a high rating, but you did not become a Mahjongtime league member you can become a league member now and we will restore your rating.

Q: What is negative rating rest?
A: This is a benefit of having a Premium or VIP account. Your rating does not drop below 0 even if you lose.

Q: What does the “Rated” checkbox in a game mean?
A: When the box is checked your rating will change weather you win or lose, when it is not checked your rating won’t change.

Q: How does the rating system work/ how do I get my rating up?
A: The more you win the higher your rating goes. If you play against people with a higher rating, your rating goes up faster than if you play against low- level players.

Q: Why should I give you my e-mail address?
A: It is important for us to have your correct e-mail on file in order for you to be notified. We also utilize your e-mail as a security cross-reference for your player account. We do not share it with third parties or send you unsolicited e-mail per the guidelines outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Q: I can’t verify my e-mail
A: You experience this problem because the e-mails do not reach your inbox. There are sites which do not allow our e-mails get to your e-mail address. To avoid this inconvenience, please try using another e-mail.
