Q. What is the partners program and how do I use it?
A. Our partners program (also called an affiliate program) is a partnership between Mahjong Time and a web site owner (yourself). You earn a residual commission on ALL gaming activities that are generated from the players who come from your site. As a web site owner all you need to do is put our banner, text link or Logo on your site with the special tracking code that we provide. This enables us to track visitors, whenever they visit our site, even if they do not come directly from your site, and credit your account for any purchase.
Q. What does it cost to join?
A. It costs you nothing!
Q. Is my site eligible to become a MahjongTime.com affiliate?
A. MahjongTime.com works with all sites, from small individual web pages to large commercial sites. Anyone may submit an application. Of course you will do better, as an affiliate, if your site is gaming related in some way. Be aware that applications may be rejected for various reasons, but your site will be definitely rejected if it contains content that could be classified as: defamatory, pornography, harassing, harmful, obscene, racially objectionable, or unlawful.
Q. Can I participate if my web site is based somewhere other than the United States?
A. Of course!! Where you are does not matter, as the Internet is worldwide.
Q. I operate more than one web site. Can I still become a affiliate?
A. Yes. You can have multiple sites as a MahjongTime.com affiliate.
Q. Can I participate in other Affiliate programs?
A. Yes, we do not have any exclusive clause in our contract, so you are not restricted from joining any other affiliate programs. We do recommend that you not place links to other gaming Web sites on the same page as the links to MahjongTime.com. It has been proven that if there are more than 2 links, (banner, buttons or logos or text links), on an individual page, the click through rate drops noticeably.
Q. Does MahjongTime accept payment form everywhere?
A. No, MahjongTime does not accept deposits from players located in states where skill-gaming is pohibited: Arizona, Delaware, Iowa, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Vermont, Connecticut, Florida, Montana, Illinois and South Carolina

A. No. Your must first have a Website before you sign-up as a MahjongTime.com Member! There are many FREE friendly sites out there that could help you build your websites within just a few minutes.
Q. What kind of sites get the best commissions?
A. The best performing types of sites fall into 2 categories, 1.those that provide targeted links and traffic, 2. Those that focus on gaming. The more targeted a site is towards the link you are displaying, the higher the click through rate will be and the higher the conversion, (CTR).
Q. What is "Targeted Traffic"?
A. If you have a web site (
or a part of your site) that talks about gaming then the best choice of links are those that focus on (target) gaming.
Q. Can I link to a page other than the MahjongTime.com default home page?
A. Yes, in fact, some of our most popular linking methods are the direct links the registration page.
Q. Can I use content from the MahjongTime site on my own site?
A. Yes you can, but only if the page that you use the content on is ONLY promoting MahjongTime.

Q. How often do I get paid?
A. MahjongTime has a Threshold (minimum payment level) of $25, in any month you have accumulated more than $25 in commissions from us, then Mahjong Time will have a check sent to you or a direct deposit will be made to your bank account. If you earn less that $25 then it will be saved, carried over to the next month. You never lose the money that isn't paid in a month. Your commissions will be sent by check to the address you gave us when you signed up.
Q. How much can I expect to earn from you?
A. The possibilities are limitless! Once a player sign up, you will earn commission from the activities of the player for as long as you are an affiliate of MahjongTime.
Q. What happens if someone goes to my site and doesn’t sign up as a member of MahjongTime and then goes directly to MahjongTime’s site within the 60 day period?
A. When someone first visits your site and clicks on the banner/text link to MahjongTime.com, a cookie is implanted on their computer. What this means is, if they then come back to MahjongTime’s site directly your cookie will still be on their computer and any sales will be credited to your account as long as they fall in the 60 day period. Please note that this will only be effective if the customer does not clear cookies on his computer.
Q. What are Parsiteware and Scumware and why should I worry about them?
A. Parasiteware and Scumware are terms used to describe marketing systems that override and STEAL your commission. These are generally operated from browser tool bars (not the Google toolbar) or other third party downloads, many times without full disclosure to the person installing the software, or hidden as part of a software bundle. As a strict policy Digestinol does not work with these marketing companies and we highly recommend you do not promote their software.
Q. What is Can-Spam?
A. "can-spam act", (short for Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act). Passed by President Bush on Dec 16th 2003, it went into effect on Jan 1st 2004. In a word, the law establishes the first national standards for the sending of commercial e-mail and charges the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) with enforcement. The law promises to crack down on unsolicited commercial e-mail by imposing stiff civil penalties and even prison sentences to people convicted of spamming. You can read the full act

MahjongTime takes spamming very seriously. A regrettable policy now that the CAN-SPAM act has been forced upon us, (even though we are confident that none of our affiliates employ SPAM), we feel it necessary to state that the use of SPAM by any of our affiliate’s to promote sales is grounds for termination.
Q. Can you offer reciprocal links?
A. At present time we do not offer reciprocal links.
Q. Do you work with rebates sites?
A. As long as the rebate site does not involve downloaded applications to perform sales and tracking, and is not parasitic in nature, then yes.
Q. I have a non-parasitic downloadable browser plugin, will you work with me?
A. Sorry no. History has shown us that it is difficult to keep up with the changes in software and that it is safer for us to have a blanket refusal on plugins than accept any at this time.
Q. What happens if a surfer visits MahjongTime.com from an affiliate link on one site, then some time later visits again but gets there by means of a different affiliate's link? How would this be tracked? Which affiliate would get credit if the surfer became a customer - the first affiliate to send him to MahjongTime.com, or the most recent?
A. When you send a visitor to MahjongTime.com, a cookie with your affiliate ID is set in place. If that person returns to us later, and signup within 60 days, you will earn commission. If a visitor comes to us at a later time from different affiliate's site, the cookie will credit the most recent affiliate link that was used.
