This month we are spotlighting Jean Marc Cazarre (username: Asmodee). Hailing from France, Jean Marc is a strong MCR and Riichi competitor both online and live. Jean Marc is Mahjong Time veteran, and has earned a brown belt–two black stripes in MCR, and brown belt-one black stripe in Riichi. Jean Marc is also an avid live tournament player. Having participated in 12 MCR events in Europe, Jean Mark holds a first place victory in the 2005 Paris Open and second place in the 2006 Hungarian Open. We had the chance to ask Jean Marc a few questions:
Q: How did you originally discover multiplayer Mahjong?
 A: I play mahjong since 1992, so 20 years.

Q: How often do you play online?
A: I play two or three evening by week.

Q: How long have you played at Mahjong Time?
 A: I don't remember to be honest, I think since 2007 or 2008

Q: What do you like the most about Mahjong Time?
A: The possibility to play with new people from over the world when I want.

Q: Tell us more about yourself! What would other Mahjong Time players be surprised to
know about you?
A: Mmm, that's a hard question. Do you know that I love cooking ? :) My mother gave me
this passion.

Q: Which style of Mahjong do you like best? Why is this your favorite?
A: I don't know between MCR and Riichi, I love both. These games are so different
but so interesting.

Q: What is better: playing live or playing online?
A: Of course, (sorry MT) playing live, particularly with friends.

Q: On the subject of online play, what kind of advice would you give to the online
player?
A: Playing concealed is often the key of victory.
